2025 marked a pivotal year for NetDragon as it advanced its "game + education" dual-engine strategy driven by AI and a global vision. Throughout the year, the company delivered both high-profile international appearances and steady, technology-driven innovation. These highlights capture NetDragon's momentum over the past year.

President of Ghana Visits NetDragon

In October 2025, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, led a delegation to visit NetDragon for an on-site inspection. During the visit, the delegation reviewed a series of national-level cooperation cases achieved by NetDragon globally and gained detailed insights into its AI-powered courseware, AI Content Factory, and other products and technological capabilities. President Mahama remarked that "the experience of visiting NetDragon was very positive." As a representative Chinese company in the field of "educational globalization", NetDragon has continued to deepen its engagement along the Belt and Road Initiative, maintaining long-term and friendly cooperation with countries including Ghana. Taking the President's visit as an opportunity, NetDragon expressed its commitment to advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries by aligning its latest digital education technologies with Ghana's development needs, jointly exploring new models and pathways for cooperation in digital education.

Jointly Launching a Landmark Publication

In 2025, NetDragon, together with China Xinhua Publishing House, the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and the Fujian Branch of Xinhua News Agency, jointly promoted the integration of technology and cultural tourism. Their collaborative achievement, This Is Fujian, was officially released. As the first provincial-level cultural tourism publication in China to deeply integrate AR (Augmented Reality), AIGC (Generative AI), and 3D spatial modeling technologies, the book pioneers a new form of "readable, perceptible, and interactive" cultural tourism experience. It marks a new stage in the deep integration of digital technology with regional cultural expression. The book presents Fujian's historical heritage, ecological beauty, and development vitality from an international perspective and through digital expression. It serves as an important medium for cultural exchange with the world, showcasing Fujian as a model of Chinese modernization.

Reimagining a New Form of Digital Art

In April 2025, Closer and Bigger, a work co-curated by NetDragon and artist Huang Zhongjie, made a striking appearance at Art Basel. Presented on a 12-meter giant screen, the work used digital technology to reconstruct and reinterpret details from nearly 20 classical masterpieces in global art history. It attracted significant attention from visitors and sparked wide discussion within the art community, while also generating strong engagement on social media. As a pioneer in integrating digital technology with aesthetic education, NetDragon has also partnered with the Central Academy of Fine Arts to establish a Digital Art and Education Innovation Center. The company has continuously carried out university–enterprise collaborations, integrating traditional and innovative education, theoretical knowledge and practical skills, as well as science and technology with humanities and art.

Implementation of Multiple Cultural & Tourism IP Collaborations

During the 8th Digital China Summit in 2025, NetDragon, together with the Xinhua News Agency News Information Center and Xinhua Publishing House, launched the special initiative "Digital Mountains & Seas – Game Empowering Fujian Culture & Tourism". The program was rolled out in phases to integrate Fujian's cultural and tourism IPs into games, allowing players to experience intangible cultural heritage elements such as the Xunpu women's floral hair garlands and traditional string puppetry. Through in-game environments, items, gameplay systems, and character skins, the project enabled cultural dissemination while also driving traffic back to real-world tourism. The first phase, developed in collaboration with the Nanping Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism, introduced the in-game character "Montis Serene", whose design was inspired by the Danxia landforms of Wuyi Mountains, its winding streams, and misty tea plantations. This transformation turned real-world landscapes into symbolic expressions within the game world.

12-Minute Live Broadcast by China Central Television (CCTV)

During the same 2025 Digital China Summit, China Central Television (CCTV) conducted a 12-minute special live broadcast feature on NetDragon. The report comprehensively showcased NetDragon's innovations in AI education, the metaverse, and digital cultural tourism, presenting to a national audience how a Fujian-based technology company leverages advanced technologies to support the development of the digital economy. Related content was also broadcast on major CCTV programs such as CCTV-1's News 30 Minutes and CCTV-13's Morning News.

13 Consecutive Years on China's Top 100 Internet Companies List

The China Internet Association hosted the "China Internet Enterprise Comprehensive Strength Index (2025)" conference in Beijing, where the "Top 100 Internet Companies in China 2025" list was officially released. NetDragon was once again included on the list alongside major industry players such as Tencent, Alibaba, and Baidu, marking its 13th consecutive year in the ranking of China's Top 100 Internet Companies by overall strength. As an important participant and innovation leader in China's internet industry, NetDragon continues to pursue a dual-core strategy of "gaming + education", focusing on two high-value sectors and building a distinctive and resilient core competitiveness.

38 Major Media Reports from Authoritative Outlets

In 2025, NetDragon received widespread media attention domestically and internationally, with a total of 38 major feature reports from authoritative outlets such as People's Daily, China Central Television (CCTV), Xinhua News Agency, and the national learning platform Xuexi Qiangguo.

Behind this sustained attention lies the company's long-term investment in foundational technologies. Its AI production center has enabled large-scale educational content generation—reducing the production time of a single high-quality courseware item to under one hour, while lowering marginal costs to the scale of a few hundred RMB. This provides strong support for the scalable production of high-quality educational resources.

Leveraging its accumulated technological capabilities and innovation capacity, NetDragon also achieved multiple international cooperation milestones in 2025: A national-level project with Cameroon's Ministry of Secondary Education is steadily progressing; An AI education platform co-developed with Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation is now providing officially certified training programs; Joint initiatives with multiple Malaysian universities have established cooperation systems in esports and vocational education.

In recognition of its technological innovation and social value, NetDragon was selected as a "Future Industry Innovation Development Leading Enterprise" by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, becoming the only enterprise from Fujian in the "Future Information" category. It also received the "2025 Hong Kong Sustainable Development Innovation Technology Award – Emerging Excellence in Educational Innovation Technology" and was rated "A" in the Wind ESG rating, ranking among the industry leaders.

From the CCTV lens to the United Nations stage, from the landscapes of Wuyi Mountains to classrooms in Africa, from the warmth of a single book to the depth of accumulated data - 2025 for NetDragon was a year of both reaching for the stars and staying grounded in practice. Standing at a new starting point, NetDragon will continue to use AI as its pen and the world as its canvas, writing a new chapter of technology for good, borderless education, and shared cultural prosperity.
